Wiregrass is a single-page website for a residential electrician, a light commercial crew, or a one-truck shop that does both. It is the page that gets you a call: the name, a tap-to-call button, the jobs you do, the towns you cover, and your hours.

It is built for the calls that actually come in. Under the hero, a “Common jobs” grid lists panel upgrades, EV chargers, outlets and switches, lighting, generators, and troubleshooting. Every tile is a tap-to-call link, so someone standing in a dark kitchen is one tap from your phone. Under that grid, a short “Licensed and insured” strip is where your license number goes. The sample leaves that line blank. It does not invent a license, a policy, or an award. Below that are the other jobs on the truck, a three-step “how a job goes” row, a band about checking the panel before an EV charger, a service area, and hours next to a quote form.

You do not start from a blank file. The download includes a ready-to-upload dist folder, a small Python build script, three color presets (Amber (day), Porcelain (morning), and Filament (night)), and original illustrations of a small town with a lamp post, a power pole and service drop, a house, and a generator. Each preset is its own drawing, not a recolor of one file. Swap in your own pictures when you have them.

Content lives in content/site.json. Change the name, phone, jobs, towns, and hours, run python3 build.py, and upload the dist folder. If you have not changed anything yet, upload the included dist folder as it is. The README has the commands.

The quote form is a placeholder until you connect it. Point it at a form service, or replace it with a phone link, before the site is public.

Wiregrass is part of the Plains & Pixels family of one-page templates for small businesses. Every template in the family uses the same type, spacing, and call button.

Wiregrass Electric in Elmwick is a fictional sample business. Replace it with yours, and type your real license number into the strip.

Three color presets

Each preset has its own drawing, not just a new button color.
